Working with the same client multiple times is the biggest compliment! 3 home sales in 5 years. All under contract and beat expectations in less than 30 days. Thank you for coming back, M.B. It was a pleasure!

Handled with care and sold for $125K over asking.
Every home is its own story; no two homes are alike. Yes, the Berkeley real estate market is a story of consistent appreciation when you look at medians and averages. But sales happen one at a time. A small mistake in presentation, or a stumble in marketing depth and br…

We had the honor of representing 73 Kingston Drive, a gorgeous home which had been in our client’s family for over 50 years. Having lived there since childhood, the sale represented far more than a mere real estate transaction; it was the closing of a deeply personal chapter. A milestone. When selling a family home tha…

Tania had the great idea to take an art day instead of a spa day to relax after this year’s busy spring market. Highly recommend checking out the De Young summer exhibits! Hearing the artist’s story and learning about her process and vision made taking in the art afterwards that much deeper and more meaningful. And did…

Every home is its own story; no two homes are alike. Yes, the Berkeley real estate market is a story of consistent appreciation when you look at medians and averages. But sales happen one at a time. A small mistake in presentation, or a stumble in marketing depth and breadth could be the difference between realizing a gain from a family investment, or leaving money on the table. Who you choose to represent you matters.

Forma Bakery stands out with their delicious coffee and broad selection of pastries. There are so many great spots for community connection in Temescal. This is but one. If you are curious about the housing market in Temescal, let’s meet for a coffee and discuss!

We had the honor of representing 73 Kingston Drive, a gorgeous home which had been in our client’s family for over 50 years. Having lived there since childhood, the sale represented far more than a mere real estate transaction; it was the closing of a deeply personal chapter. A milestone. When selling a family home that has witnessed so much of your life, there is an emotional element to the process of letting go that must be honored and given space. It is our privilege to bear witness to that process that isn’t about business at all. Our approach for preparing a home for the market is client-centered, and makes room for that intangible but incredibly important aspect of selling your family home.
During its two brief weeks on the market, 73 Kingston Dr proved to be a truly magical setting, where we hosted many visitors—including some feathered and four-legged friends. This quick successful period allowed our client to pass the baton of caretaking to the next family in a way that perfectly aligned with her heartfelt intentions. We wish the new owners a joyful beginning in this special place.

L & G were referred to us through their Realtor in Southern California. They wanted to live closer to their grandkids so they could be a daily part of their lives. They didn’t need too much space, but they were looking at a very concentrated area. They wanted to be within walking distance of their son’s house. As you can imagine, that is a tight radius. They also wanted an architecturally charming home with a quiet spot in the garden for morning coffee, plenty of natural light, and a place for their piano.
They started their search early in the spring market, getting preview tours via video from us before flying up for weekend open houses when something looked promising.
Not only did we find them the perfect home on all counts, we did it within 2 months of first starting the search, and closed escrow just a week before they closed on the sale of their home down south. They were able to pack their old house up and move everything directly into their new home-sweet-home.
Welcome to the neighborhood, L & G! We hope your new home is quickly filled with the beautiful music of your grandkids’ pattering feet.

My neighbor and I were introduced by a mutual friend a few months ago. She reached out to me and said, “So many of our neighbors keep telling me that I just have to meet you, Lisa!” We arranged to have a coffee at her house and I met her sweet dog, who was instantly friends with my 1.5 yo crazy big puppy.
J.E., her sister, and her dad wanted to pick my brain about the best approach to the 3 of them purchasing a home for their dad to retire closer to family. We brainstormed contacting home owners on their street for the possibility of living within a block of one another, and we also investigated Marina Bay, a spot their dad had loved last time he’d been out for a visit. There was a particular townhouse with a view of the marina and close to the trails that was compelling to him. I had experience selling in the same complex, and we were able to quickly analyze market values and comb over the HOA documents to make sure everyone was going into this with eyes wide open.
A week later they decided to make a move. We were in contract the next day, and closed escrow just 14 days later. The whole process, from meeting J.E. and her family to handing over the keys, took just under a month. J.E.’s dad is thrilled to have such an ideal place to land, and now I have a new dog-walking buddy in my hood to boot!
